Total Power Groups electrical engineer Tom Ashcroft recently underwent the rigorous testing to achieve accreditation from governing body NIC EIC and successfully passed after a period of inspection. Offering NIC EIC compliant testing not only gives a recognisable certification to offer against an installation but it also helps to ensure that Total Power Group are delivering a quality all round product that is so highly demanded by the companies ethos. Technical Director Grant Cox says "Gaining this qualification not only enhances our reputation as a leading switchgear manufacturer but it also allows our installation division to develop with the companies growth plans of providing an in house Turnkey delivery". Tom Ashcroft who has been awarded the certification says "When I approached our engineering team and suggested we gain NIC EIC and put forwards the benefits of Total Power Group engineers being able to test installations without the requirement of a sub-contractor the appeal was evident. I have always had a passion to ensuring my work is undertaken to the highest level of quality and having undergone the demands of the NIC EIC inspection I certainly have the confidence in delivering installations in the most critical power projects". Total Power Group will be further investing in ensuring further members of the team achieve NIC EIC status in the coming months.
